Δεκέμβριος

December is usually a slow month in the markets, and volume tends to dry up around the middle of the month as investors, either satisfied with the year’s gains or looking to prevent further losses, pack it in for the rest of the month.

“I think they feel like they should have shut ‘em down six months ago,” says Bud Haslett, head of options strategy at Miller Tabak. “Everybody is in shell-shock and some people are suffering from denial of how bad things are, so I think they are cutting or curtailing a bit on their trading, going into the end of the year a little earlier than usual.”
